Bunny and family
Luckily both Denise and Bev chimed in on this one. I think that I am the little one my mom is holding, so my first-hand recollections are nil. Bunny's family was visiting from Manitoba, so it was an event out of the ordinary for them.
This is Bunny, Nell, Denise, me and Mom in the back row; Karen, John and Bev in the front. Denise thought maybe their older brother George was the cameraman, as my dad had to go to work that day. Beverly remembered that they went to see Grampa Roy who was not well; he died in 1964, I believe. Maybe baby Cedar was asleep, not yet born, crying off-screen, who knows!
Most of the Roys
I wonder where this was taken. It could be on the occasion of Anne's wedding in Saskatoon, although here they are dressed for a walk!

Three kids
Three kids: Douglas, Betty and Bunny.
All the Roy kids
This is from 1941, a few years before the one yesterday.
Mary Jean, Douglas, Donald, Betty and Bunny with little Frank and Pat in front.
All the Roys
This picture should have been the first up! A classic shot. I know some large ones were made but this is just a small one.
It says along the bottom, "Last time the whole family all there," and I believe that is still true. Both parents and all the siblings were together in 1945, I think when Bunny was just home from the war.

I don't know when this was taken but I'd say Betty looks quite young. Sporty-looking, right?
